Projekte
Es werden ausschliesslich auf die Patientinnen und Patienten oder auf die medizinische Betreuung ausgerichtete klinische Forschungsprojekte unterstützt, das heisst Studien an Patientinnen und Patienten oder Probandinnen und Probanden oder deren Daten.
- Unterstützt werden originelle, ausgereifte und konkrete Projekte, die alle erforderlichen Unterlagen enthalten.
- Finanziert werden können insbesondere die Planung, Durchführung, Analyse und Publikation von Forschungsprojekten innerhalb des HFR. Dies beinhaltet beispielweise Materialkosten (Verbrauchsmaterialien, Feldspesen, Ethikanträge usw.), technische Ausrüstung (inklusive Hardware und Software), Saläre (z. B. Forschungsassistentinnen und -assistenten, Study Nurses, Statistiker/innen) sowie Kosten für die Biobank, die nicht durch das Budget des Forschungsprojekts gedeckt werden.
- Die Publikationskosten (Open Access/Journal-Gebühren) werden vom HFR übernommen.
- Die formelle Unterstützung durch die Direktion der Klinik oder des Instituts ist zwingend, insbesondere die Bestätigung, dass die Bewerberin oder der Bewerber genügend Zeit für die Durchführung des Projekts zur Verfügung gestellt bekommt. Speziell beachtet werden innovative Projekte, die eine Anschubfinanzierung beantragen. Anschliessend kann ein Drittmittelgesuch eingereicht werden, insbesondere für den SNV, EU-Forschungsprogramme, InnoSuisse oder andere Institutionen.
- Die Dauer des Projekts sollte nach Bewilligung der Beiträge zwei Jahre nicht überschreiten.
- Der Nachweis von bereits erbrachten wissenschaftlichen Tätigkeiten ist erwünscht aber nicht zwingend.
- Das Vorliegen einer Bewilligung der Ethikkommission ist für die Antragsstellung nicht zwingend notwendig. Allerdings sollte eine entsprechende Bewilligung vorhanden sein, bevor Mittel ausbezahlt werden.
- Nicht unterstützt werden von der Industrie finanzierte Studien sowie die Mitarbeit bei Registern und Grundlagenforschung ohne konkreten Patientenbezug.
- Eine detaillierte Begründung der Notwendigkeit der eingesetzten Gelder ist beizulegen.
Anderweitige Unterstützung (z. B. Kolloquien, Kongresse) oder die Anschaffung von Infrastruktur von bleibendem Wert können künftig bei Stiftungen ausgeschrieben werden.
